Terms for grown-ups.

These terms describe use of the Roarling app and website provided by Devote Good LLC. Roarling is a learning companion for children, with accounts, permissions and settings managed by a parent or legal guardian. A child should not be asked to accept these terms.

Parent-managed use

If you set up Roarling for a child, you are responsible for choosing suitable activities, supervising use as appropriate and managing device permissions. Use a nickname rather than a child's full name. Keep access to any linked parent Apple or Google account secure.

Learning activities

Roarling offers practice with English words, letters and counting. It does not provide a complete school curriculum, professional educational assessment, speech therapy or a guarantee of learning outcomes. Progress indicators describe activity in the app; they are not standardized grades.

Speaking practice is optional and depends on compatible local speech recognition. Recognition may be inaccurate, particularly with young children's voices, background noise or unfamiliar speech. A transcript or recognition confidence is not a pronunciation assessment.

Private beta

Roarling is currently in private beta. Features, supported devices and availability may change. Beta builds can expire, contain errors or lose data. Use fictional nicknames and disposable profiles during testing. The current beta has no advertising or in-app purchases. We will explain any future paid features before a purchase is made; these terms do not authorize a charge.

Your account and data

The privacy policy explains what is saved, why it is used, and how parents can request access, correction or deletion. Linking a parent account may allow restoration on compatible devices using the same sign-in provider. Unlinked anonymous profiles may be lost when an app is removed or a device is replaced.

You can stop using Roarling at any time. To remove server-side account data, follow the account-deletion instructions; uninstalling alone does not remove it.

Use of the app and materials

You may use Roarling for personal, parent-supervised learning. Roarling's name, Rex artwork, app design and original content belong to Devote Good LLC or their respective licensors. Do not sell, redistribute or present them as your own. Open-source software and licensed fonts remain subject to their own licenses.

Do not attempt to access another family's account, disrupt the service, bypass access controls or upload harmful material. If you discover a security issue, contact us privately at the address below.

Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the service useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or compatibility with every device. Setup and content downloads require internet access. Previously downloaded activities may work offline; account changes and synchronization require a connection.

We may update these terms when the service changes. The effective date will be shown on this page. Where required, material changes will be communicated in the app or through the parent account. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under applicable consumer or privacy law.
